This hachimaki headband comes in ninja black and features the Japanese character "nin" which means "to endure" or "to hide." Ideal for martial artists or cosplay.
Japanese hachimaki are thin cotton strips tied around the forehead. Originally worn at festivals to ward off evil spirits, they also serve the purpose of keeping hair and perspiration out of the wearer's eyes.
Hachimaki help the wearer to gather his/her spirits and show determination and resolve. The slight pressure around the forehead helps to improve concentration and speed of thought. They were worn by samurai under their helmets, kamikaze pilots during World War II, and by practitioners of martial arts.

The Jikatabi are an interesting take on footwear. By separating the hallux from the other digits, the hallux is able to dorsiflex to a greater degree at midstance which in turn roots the
base of the hallux with more inherent strength forming a stronger medial
arch. As for fit, the Rikio Fighter
Shimebuto model fits my high volume foot well. The available depth at toes feels shallow when compared to a model like the Rikio Hadashi. I am having alot of fun studying and using the various jikatabi I have purchased so far. If your first pair does not fit perfectly, play with the models and or sizing. The fit guide is a great reference baseline. Allow yourself some grace when choosing an initial size. It is a starting piont.
