Another new model from Soukaido, one of Japan's leading makers of safety jikatabi.
The successor to the popular I-808, this model has fully waterproof synthetic leather uppers, reinforced with rubber, making it suitable for wearing in water up to about 20cm deep. The traditional split-toe jikatabi design is enhanced with a web to prevent stones or other objects from injuring your toes, making the I-888 ideal for trekking or forestry work. With three velcro fasteners for a perfect fit.

If you can get the sizing right, you will not be disappointed with the quality and construction of this shirt. I'd initially ordered a size L but on arrival found it to be short in the arm length for my liking. It was kindly gifted to a family member. I promptly re-ordered the product in the adjusted size of 4L- just perfect!!
Now that I've dialled in the measurements for both tobi shirt & trouser, pending availability, I will be purchasing again.

I bought these same shoes and I loved them but I got a size too big (my own fault). These are my repurchase of the right size! They are so comfortable and are probably my favorite shoes I own.
I love these shoes! They have a size conversion chart you can check when buying the shoes, as well Japanese shoe sizing being very straight forward. The size of the shoe is however many centimeters your foot is! I got nervous about choosing the right size and order a size too big. I bought another pair a size down and I will be using the pair that is a little too big as a pair to decorate. The ones I am getting in the correct size will be a pair of everyday shoes! They are comfortable and well made! The tabs are not hard to do and once you know exactly how you want them to fit, they are super easy and quick to put on.

Purchased these in hopes for a experimental sock-like lightweight indoor shoes. Noticed quite quickly that due to its "rubber on sock" was quite prone to damage if not worn in water (like it is supposed to). Works extremely well for watersports
I work as a carpenter so my gear is really put to the test. These pants have held up very well to over a year of hard work. The fit around the waist is spot on, and the range of motion they offer is unparalleled. They breath well during the summer, and coupled with a long sleeve moisture wicking shirt keep you cool and protected from the sun. 👍 I highly recommend for summer time work wear
