Double cushion, double comfort!
This jikatabi has a double cushion insole, designed for people who spend a lot of time continuously on their feet - a 3mm sponge cushion, a 3mm EVA cushion, and a cushion gel layer in the heel. It comes in black or white and has 12 metal tabs (kohaze) and four adjustable widths to ensure a snug fit. 100% cotton with cotton lining and a lightweight and flexible rubber sole. All the stitching is reinforced so the seams are strong and durable.

Wow what a great pair of work boots!
These are my second pair and they are the most comfortable pair of work boots I've even owned. I either spend hours in the seat of a truck or walk 5 to 10km a night while at work and these keep my feet comfortable and warm in all but the coldest weather.
Almost zero drop and plenty of space in the toe boxes, make these boots perfect for big feet and people concerned about foot health. The steel toe caps keep my employer happy too!
The only downside is they are not water resistant, this can be solved by using a wash in waterproofer.
I've also successfully washed them in a washing machine.
Only reason I bought a second pair is that the soles were starting to wear out. All the stitching and glue on my first pair is still intact after 9+ months of wearing 50+ hours per week.
The XL option from Japan zone means even people like me with giant feet can now enjoy comfort while at work. Try them for a week and I'm sure you won't be going back to regular work boots!
Lastly the service from Japan zone is out of this world. I've never come across a company online who gives the kind of service i'd expect from a local shop where you know the owner!

I love these. Lightweight but durable. Excellent traction from the sole. Supremely comfortable. I have a ‘bad’ knee which is exacerbated by heavy footwear, but with these, because I can fully engage my foot and ankle, I can maintain better posture and avoid problems.
These were bought for a friend but I also own a pair. Superb high-quality and comfort at a reasonable price

There are some tabi out there that don't come up to par, but Rikio tabi are the best tabi by far.
