Blue Fighter for the larger leg!
These jikatabi are essentially the same as the Fighter model, but are a violet/navy blue color. Flexible, light-weight, durable and extremely comfortable. They have metal fasteners (kohaze) with four width fittings for a perfect fit. The separation of the big toe is said to have health benefits, as the flexing of the toe both relaxes and stimulates the brain.
Sizes: 24cm-30cm (See the Japanese Shoe Size page for Jpn/US/UK/Eur size comparisons)
Height: Tall boot (12 kohaze)
Fit: Shimebuto; compared to the Regular fit, it has an extra 1.5cm girth for the ankles and 5-6cm for the calves
Color: Blue
Material: Canvas, JRFMA rubber sole

Rikio Taro - Shimebuto (12-Tab)
Let customers speak for us
from 95 reviewsThe Jikatabi are an interesting take on footwear. By separating the hallux from the other digits, the hallux is able to dorsiflex to a greater degree at midstance which in turn roots the
base of the hallux with more inherent strength forming a stronger medial
arch. As for fit, the Rikio Fighter
Shimebuto model fits my high volume foot well. The available depth at toes feels shallow when compared to a model like the Rikio Hadashi. I am having alot of fun studying and using the various jikatabi I have purchased so far. If your first pair does not fit perfectly, play with the models and or sizing. The fit guide is a great reference baseline. Allow yourself some grace when choosing an initial size. It is a starting piont.
Fit amazing! Great movement!
Robust and ideal for kobudo and ninjutsu training soft and hard at the same time
I’ve literally never had a better pair of pants in my life.
I bought these because I've been slowly transitioning all my shoes into split toe for orthopedic benefits, and I needed something protective for my job. Not only do these feel safer than my previous shoes but they've completely eliminated my foot pain I'd experience after work. Yeah my feet still get tired, but the moment I take the shoes off my feet feel great. Perfect fit at my recommended show size, and I like the way they look. Super fast shipping time! Awesome website I'll be using for all my shoes needs from now on!
They are quite comfortable and the quality is very nice. I love the tab closures!
Consistent service,
Good communication,
Fast delivery,
I got what I ordered just as I did last time.
Very happy.
