These are the classic "tobi" pants as worn by construction workers across Japan. "Chocho Long" refers to the "very, very long" inseam, while the "hachibun" refers to the 8/10 of the pants that are baggy. With their distinctive baggy style they make a real fashion statement. Comes in six waist sizes and five colors.
Made for warmer seasons, these pants are a lot lighter than the Toraichi models we carry.

The Jikatabi are an interesting take on footwear. By separating the hallux from the other digits, the hallux is able to dorsiflex to a greater degree at midstance which in turn roots the
base of the hallux with more inherent strength forming a stronger medial
arch. As for fit, the Rikio Fighter
Shimebuto model fits my high volume foot well. The available depth at toes feels shallow when compared to a model like the Rikio Hadashi. I am having alot of fun studying and using the various jikatabi I have purchased so far. If your first pair does not fit perfectly, play with the models and or sizing. The fit guide is a great reference baseline. Allow yourself some grace when choosing an initial size. It is a starting piont.

These pants flow so nicely but are made of a sturdy material that is good for working, or relaxing in. They are much much thinner than my 2530 Toraichi pants. Cant wait for summer to come so i can use them.
